I saw that truck not all that long ago - digging the AM only radio.

Is $15K in the ballpark?? Is this something that a guy could buy, enjoy for a bit and then turn around and sell and not lose his a$$ ??

Its on its way east now... took awhile for me to find a shipper willing to go the far north.

I think some could buy and enjoy and sell it for the same money in a couple of years but, that person would need to show restraint and not change it ie lift engine, color etc.

A truck is only original once

I have always liked these and never liked the scout 2 or travelall body styles. The smiley face has to go. These are deceptively large inside as well.

Binders rule!

Does it have the 4 cyl which is just a V8 with one cylinder head removed?

If it is truly "rust free" and you can keep it that way it will probably only appreciate, like land, "they sure as hell aint makin any more"...

FWIW for future reference - I would have picked up and stored the truck for you - and easy enough to drop at a shipper terminal in Seattle/Tacoma area.

Nice 800. i used to have one that I restored from the ground up. you may know, but if you dont do some goole search on the champagne series. I believe that your scout is part of a limited edition because of the silver interior parts and chrome bumpers. Only special edition scouts had that. also a Line set ticket available from super scout specialist will show you exactly what it was outfitted with from the factory. Kinda like having a birth certificate
