1966 Series IIA V8

I'M SELLING OFF THE LAST OF MY SERIES ROVERS. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PURCHASED MY OTHER 5 OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS. THIS ONE IS A 1966 STAGE ONE CLONE ROVER V8. IT HAS A ROVER 3.5 V8 WITH DUAL CARBS. STARTS EASILY AND RUNS GREAT WITH NO LEAKS OR SMOKE. 5 SPEED TRANNY SHIFTS EXCELLENT WITH HIGH LOW TRANSFER CASE IN EXCELLENT COND. THIS CONVERSION WAS PROFESSIONALLY DONE IN ENGLAND WITH MANY CUSTOM PARTS. I HAVE STACKS OF RECEIPTS TOTALING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN PARTS AND LABOR. THIS IS A VIRTUALLY RUST FREE TRUCK. VERY SOLID FRAME WITH ONLY ONE SMALL SPOT ABOUT HALF DOLLAR SIZE ON THE REAR CROSS MEMBER. THE REST OF THE FRAME IS VERY SOLID. THE BODY IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AS WELL. BULK HEAD IS EXCELLENT. THERE IS SOME ALUMINUM DETERIORATION AT THE DOOR SKIN BOTTOMS BUT THE FRAMES ARE SOLID. I'M INCLUDING A NEW SET OF DOORS (STILL IN THE BOX) WITH THE SALE. ALTHOUGH THE BODY IS VERY GOOD, THE PAINT JOB IS FADED AND NOT THE BEST.

I'VE HAD THIS TRUCK IN STORAGE FOR ABOUT A YEAR. SINCE TAKING IT OUT OF STORAGE I JUST HAD THE POWER STEERING REBUILT, NEW WATER PUMP AND TWIN KENLOW ELECTRIC FANS COSTING ($800). THE TRUCK HAS NEW HEAVY DUTY SPRINGS AND PRO COMP SHOCKS. AUTHENTIC WOLF WHEELS AND BRAND NEW INTERCO TRXUS M/T 235 85R16 TIRES WITH SPARE. THIS ROVER IS A BEAST BUT DRIVES VERY SMOOTH ESPECIALLY AT HWY SPEEDS. ONLY ONE VERY SMALL LEAK AT REAR DIF. DRAIN PLUG.
EVERYTHING SHOWN IN PHOTOS (JACK, CB, ETC) ARE INCLUDED IN SALE.

SEE LINK BELOW FOR MANY MORE PHOTOS.

$8500 FIRM

Really like that truck, but I'd be sleeping in it if I brought another one home.

Anthony is easy to deal with!

GLWS.
