1965 Series, V8, auto, coiler

Started life as a 1965 Series iia that was converted to a stage one. When the frame was deemed not repairable I decided that we would convert it back to series sheet metal and go with coils while keeping the V8 automatic. I am running two heater systems, one for defrost & one for cabin. The Series drives great, tracks well at speed no issues with driving 70mph up or down our hills. The pictures are a pretty good indication on the condition. Have a bunch of photos on history and build
The goodness:
Chassis is a 1995 discovery stretched
Differentials and suspension are stock discovery
Power steering
New door tops from rocky mountain
New disc brakes all four
5 Wolf Wheels Powder coated with new maxis tires
Fuel inject 3.9 V8
Diesel air intake
New exhaust
Aluminum radiator
ZF automatic transmission
Borg warner transfer case
New paint
All door bottoms repaired
Dual Heaters
Tub & under tub coated
New defender steering column
Defender seats custom covered in 100% gray leather
Quad front lights inboard are Hella 4000 series
Optima battery
There are some finishing nits that will be up to the new owner as follows:
Engine bay needs detailing and tiding up
Switches on dash need to be tweaked (I would replace them)
Speedo is off
Shifter counsel needs to be completed
Rear seat needs to adjusted and locked in place (it does foldup)
Master brake either cylinder or vacuum needs slow speed braking improved (might be a vacuum leak)
Seat belts are aftermarket (I would replace them)

It is for sale because my wife decided she is having major guilt for not driving it much & I am back working on my diesel FJ40 project when Iím not out on a horse I see no free time for quite a while so instead of letting it sit itís off to a new home that with complete the fine tuning

Series is located in SW Virginia 24315, drop me a PM and I will send my phone number to discus
Price $35,000.00---Pete

They are big horn maxxis, springs are stock 1995 disco, I added a 1 inch spacer in the rear to level the truck.
Very decent ride in rough roads
