Nice Cyber sleuthing. Well i guess we know who he is. Ive never dealt with WCB and after this never will. Life is too short to deal with assholes. I dont care how good they are at what they do.

Can you imagine ECR issuing a press release every time they rebuilt a Defender?!

A good reputable company does not have to issue a press release every time they (re)built a Defender. ECR is known for its reputation of outstanding quality craftmanship and attention to detail. That is the reason they are successful and customers keep coming back.

My favorite part is the disclaimer at the bottom of their site...especially after looking at their flickr account earlier. Losers:

"Disclaimer; The "STIG" is no doubt registered by the BBC (UK) for TOP-GEAR. This was all done in fun. CopyrightWCBR2009"

I say you challenge him to a race.

This was my response to his message. And all he replies with is a link to his website. He is a real piece of work.

Dear racerman21,

Since I dont know who you are and you havent identified yourself I have no basis for comparison. All i said is that its the fastest SII Ive driven. So tough guy who are you? Lets see a picture of one of your trucks. Where is your shop thats done more conversions than most places combined?

Thanks. Its bitter sweet but my house looks like a rover used car lot right now. Its a local sale. He is a high end home and furniture designer and wants to be able to transport furniture etc so he needs the bed covered. Ive got a complete carpet set for the bed so it will fit his needs perfectly.
