110 Parts Truck (and additional optional parts)

Pictures in this thread:

http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=25592

You get the bulkhead forward (I will include an uncut radiator panel, uncut grill, and the missing headlight, marker lights, and headlight panel), floor boards, tunnel cover, windscreen (no chips or cracks), drivetrain (2.5 TD, recon LT77, LT230), frame, exhaust, all wiring including the wiring harness to the rear, rear door with seal and front door seals.

Why do you want to buy this stuff? Well, the frame is great with polybushed suspension, the motor runs (and since it is a 2.5TD a 200Tdi is a bolt in proposition and being RHD you can use a Disco 200Tdi which sell for dirt cheap in the UK), and it seems to have at least some copper brake pipes fitted (brakes work). The exhaust, although it does not look it, is pretty new. It is pretty complete and would make an excellent offroad truck with a trayback (just buy my pickup cab below and cut the end off a series bed). Bulkhead is in solid shape with a UK style (ie not so nice, but solid) floorboard replacement and it is the early style where an LHD conversion is pretty easy. I have the fusebox cover and have taken out the extra wires the PO put in and will send you with a full set of fuses and a couple fuel filters I just ordered from RN. It will convey with four steel wheels and tires that roll (will need new tires), but Daniel licked the four white ones on it (sorry daniel, it only has four of the good white wheels, not five).

I am not trying to be greedy, so for the above, you get it all for $3100 obo (don't be afraid to make an offer, I won't be offended, I have close to 5k into it with the import fees etc.). The way I look at it, to part it out, the frame is $1000, the recon LT77 is worth $800, the sals is worth $300, the LT230 is $300, and the motor is worth $1000 so you get the rest for free with a 10% discount for taking the lot.

Optional stuff for you to take for CHEAP or at least below market price:
Donor titled 1973 109 to use these parts on to rebuild
110 roof with holes for alpine windows
110 pick up cab (back panel will need to be painted to match, but the top is the off white like the roof on it)
SW front doors in decent shape
Galvanized Brownchurch roofrack and ladder
Fixable T-pieces to make it into a SW
Seat box
Seats (both in nice shape, but one has mismatched recovered base and one with a new base)
Good SIII outer fenders (to replace the dented outers in case you want to make it look like a series truck)

What I need to keep:
Winch (I will put a PTO cover over the hole for you and throw in a sort of straight galvanized front bumper)
Rear tub
Rear tub sides
Smooth roof
Front doors (you can keep the hinges and I will throw in the other mirror for you).
Two of the four brackets that hold the tub on (series truck only had two so you don't need all four).

I don't have time to part this out and I need the space. If you want less than what is listed at the top (ie, you want everything but the motor), we can talk, but if you are not asking for something big and worth a good bit of money (ie rolling chassis minus drivetrain) I don't have time to sell it to you and I am sorry about that.

Must be picked up outside philly and relatively quickly.

Ron

I'd be interested in the motor, tranny, and t-case if anyone wants to part it with me.

I will sell as much or as little as someone wants. The only two things I absolutely need to keep are the apline windowless roof and the winch. I would prefer to sell as a PU cab or just sell the rolling chassis as parts $3000 obo.

Asking $6000 OBO complete with the title, full roof with holes alpine windows (no roof rack -- but that is negotiable) and all the stuff I bought/fixed. $5500 OBO with a PU cab and tailgate. At this time I am only looking to recoup costs (and get a free which for the days of labor involved in it thus far).

I just don't need another truck as much as I like Janey. In the end, I think she will sell for about what you paid (8k? 8500?) even with the additional dents .

$9k. I had hoped so, even with the replaced rear cross member and other frame repairs, sliders, new tires, brakes, front skids, new heater core, fixes to the wiring and charging, new fuel pump, and various other tlc it's received since I got it from you!

I'm always open to refunds if you think you overcharged me

Ron's truck was a better fit with the diesel and the fact that he would sell me as much or as little of the truck that I needed.

Absolutely, wasn't trying to knock you or Ron on the decision/sale. Still think Ron could do a better job of selling Janey than me

Ed should have bought it, and probably would have if I bothered to fix the clutch MC.

To be fair, you have had her for what, five years?

2.75 years if you want to be precise. To be fair she has about 7K more miles and a few extra dents but is undeniably in way better condition than when I got her.
