The trucks coming out of there now are looking pretty rough. But that was not always the case. Mine is a BATUS 110 and was in fairly decent shape when it was released, although it did have a horrendous amount of flaky and peeling paint. A couple days pressure washing, scraping and sanding improved that, along with a bit spent on upgrades of course. It's certainly not perfect now, but perfectly presentable.







But yes, now I would be tempted to just find a 2000 Td5 as they are now legal to import up here.

I'm in the middle of this blizzard but I can get pics for you in a couple of days. I'm thinking about doing a ground up resto on it but since its running fine and not my primary vehicle I can wait until I am a little more familiar with it or if something major in the drive train breaks. I can't imagine that this 2.5 n/a lt77 transmission drive train would go for too much even with the low miles on them.
