Thumbs up 101 Forward Control and built Jeep Wrangler

Not in a hurry to get rid of, just thought I would see if anyone was interested, particularly for a trade for a D-90. 1976 101 Forward Control and 1992 Jeep Wrangler.

Forward Control is in great condition, about 24,000 miles, 3.5L V8 and has a propane conversion for dual fuel (gasoline and propane). Has custom rack with welded bars that make an awning for tailgating.

1992 Jeep Wrangler has 90k miles, 4.0L 5-SPD, custom bumpers, swing away tire carrier, arb lockers front and rear, hand throttle, York on board air, rock lights, CB radio, trailer wiring and hitch, aftermarket stereo, welded roll cage, k&n, safari top, 4.5" RE HD lift and 1.25 body lift, 1" motor mount lift, 33" BFG MT's that have less than 1000 miles (all 5).

Both great trucks. Located in Raleigh, NC

Ok, that 101 would make a serious beach party tailgate machine!

$13k is what I would let it go for. And it is a serious tailgate machine. It will go to East Carolina and NC State tailgates in the next few weeks. It's actually made me a D list celebrity here around Raleigh.

I have an ARB locker for that axle, complete with custom cut side gears if anyone is interested.

EDIT: Having an ARB in it would make you a C list celeb instead of a D list.

I'll be in Durham next week, and would like to take a look at the 101. I have a couple 90's, a 110, and some Series trucks to barter with, or buy outright. Probably Tuesday??

Wether we make a deal or not, the 101 is very nice. Remember though, not 'slick', but very nice for a 101.....

Steve,

So you haven't had the 101 very long to enjoy it, why are you moving it so fast?

Ah, a couple reasons

1) I had bought it intending to run almost exclusively on propane. Unfortunately our fill station closed down.
2) The tailgate field we used in college has closed its doors for alumni to the student organizations, thus I can't really use it for tailgating now.
3) I would prefer to run a vehicle on biodiesel whenever possible, and the gas mileage could be better.
4) Its not very practical for running around town (but cool) but also its not very quick on the highway either
5) I was thinking by selling this and my Wrangler, I could combine my money into one D90 and pay less insurance as well.

Their both nice trucks, just looking to see whats out there. Dale has kids and could use it for entertaining them. I'm not in a hurry by any means.

Oooh, do tell. Pics? I've been 109/110 pick-ups too. A Stage 1 would be perfect.

Nice! Oh yeah, I remember seeing that one Ebay. Looked like it was red originally. If the Wife throws a fit, let me know.

I will let you know, she was not happy about the 110 I got earlier in the year so I might need to turn it around. What I would relly like is a 110/130 hi-cap. 1983 is the magic year for import i believe.

You are correct. That's one reason I was biding my time. Also, a 130 HCPU would be the shizznit!
