Soon to be D90 owner

I wanted a Defender 90 since I was in middle school. Now that I'm 30, married, am debt free and have a good job, its finally time to make the dream come true.

I have been a huge fan of this forum and of the old school d-90 web. I'm looking forward to being a part of the community as apposed to a spectator.

I hope to own a 97 as my wife doesn't drive a manual. I don't really care what color or what top is on it, so long that it hasn't been ragged out to hard!

I'm based out of Atlanta and Knoxville.

Cheers,

Vasily

Much gratitude to the forum members who helped along the way.

Oh we're around. I'm in Fountain City, and I know there are at least two D90s out this way.

Which truck did you buy?

Leaving Trevor's shop after a thorough inspection and an oil change.

I'll have some more soon.

I love Arles SW's. The only other Defender I would replace mine with. Congrats!

I bought a '95 Conniston Green SW in '97 and drove it for 9 years. In a weak moment, I sold the truck, thinking I needed a giant F250. All's well that ends well, however; I sold the F250 and replaced it with a 110! Still amazed at how much crap I am willing to put up with just to drive a Defender, the moral of the story is - the Defender Virus will never let go of you. Welcome to the world of Defenders.
