New member checking in!

Hi All
I was given the heads up to the D-90 site by a good friend of mine (Jackie Treehorn) I can guess because he knows I'm only interested in 2 things, Landrovers and firearms, everything else is wasted time....
I'm resident in the UK which is pretty limiting as far as my second interest goes, but have told my wife that if things get too bad over here then we'll head for Texas.
My Defender 90 is currently in the middle of a rebuild and has a new chassis ( that's as far as I got since August because work got in the way and I spend my time travelling all over Europe ) Bit awkward really as we are facing our first winter without a 4x4
Not sure where this post is supposed to go but am trusting to luck that it is in the right location, but I'm sure the mods will shift it if need be.

Without being too precise let's just say it is a few miles North of Hereford
Hope that doesn't come over as unfriendly, I'm very selective as regards personal information going over the internet

I am sure any member of this board could find me in Newport in about 30 mins... damn the innate tracking ability of US LR enthusiasts :P

I'm from the UK ... lets say just a few miles south east of London .. if you are really selective then try a few minutes googling yourself ... and make sure you are happy with what you find.

So you are probably from Texas, like guns ( logical ), are in the UK but travel Holland, Norway, South of France, Italy, Croatia, Finland, Estonia , you are married think the best best cure for the fox is a .338 Lapua ... dude I feel like I've known you all my life already!

Welcome to the D-90 mad house.

So I have a 95 D-90 SW ... in the most desirable color .. alpine white ... the second most limited version ... but given the 5 speed manual ... definitely the drivers choice!

not sure where this post is going either ... but i felt compelled to populate the last few minutes with a spot of typing!

Ha! could be.
I bought a 10KW generator, gentran switch and been stockpiling old NATO Jerrycans, so I guess I'm in the same boat.

Solid Defender enthusiast with legit working knowledge to share.

I think anyone that is current or former military, is a Darwinist, or grew up in the 80's has to have a little prepper in them at a minimum.

I want to be way more of a prepper than I currently am, and envy those that are farther along than I am.
