New here - intro

Howdy
New here to posting though I think I registered a user name in the past. I'm in Massachusetts and currently drive a Tacoma but looking to move on.

I'm looking for a D90 in the New England area ($30k ballpark). I didn't want my first post to be in the for sale forum should one come across my area.

Thanks
Dave

Welcome fellow Dave. What exactly are you looking for? Josh-Man has his 1987 3 door 110 ST for sale for about half of what you budget is and he is just up the road in Portland.

If you are looking for an NAS truck they are out there but you will need to be patient and a good hunter.
Happy hunting and welcome.

Welcome, like Dave said, unless you are dead set on an NAS truck you might look to an ExMoD and with the money left over in the budget for modifications you could have one heck of a truck.

Thanks guys. NAS is my target and one that is as stock as possible. As for soft top or SW either would suit me fine. A D90 for me will see mainly pavement, sand, and snow.

Not going to lie, I love the idea of flying out somewhere to pick up a new vehicle and drive it home. What's the consensus on max distance one would/should go in one?

That being said, indeed at this time I'm trying to stay as local as possible.

If it's in good running order, coast to coast and start a cross country trip thread on this board. It is also a great way to meet fellow board members along the way.

If you can get a good dry climate truck from out west it is worth the drive.

Thumbs up Dry Warm climates

I wouldn't hesitate to look at any of the dry climate areas.
My defender has been in Southern California since it's first purchase and it shows. It's nice to look under the vehicle and see ZERO rust.

Mine are from Memphis and Miami. No rust! I think you will be hard pressed to find a minimal rust D90 in New England unless you go to Copley and $30k might get you a test drive there

State what exactly you want and it will get found here.
