New from Costa Rica

Hello!

I ended up here because I just got my first Defender.
I grew up around a my dad's Series III when I was young and currently own a 91 RRC and a quite modified 04 Disco. I had been looking forward to start a project with a Defender for a few years, and finally got my hands on a 1997 NAS, which for some reason is running on a Toyota whatever diesel complete drivetrain... I am in the process of unbolting that and my plan is to install a V8 from the family so I am sure I will be doing a lot of reading around here...

I truly value all the cooperation and any advice any could be giving.

Welcome Alberto!
There are lots of members here with very sound V8 knowledge.

Thanks. Well, I can get series by the dozens here. Land Rovers started here in 1949, just one year after their lanunch in UK and been a farmer's country, they are everywhere. Series I are hard to get in good shape though... If anyone is interested just email me at jrojas3000@yahoo.com and we can talk it out...
