New Defender owner...in Tunisia...

Hi guys,

I am a US expat living in Tunisia...just bought my first Landy, a 1995 Defender 300tdi.

I am totally new to the vehicle, so if I ask a stupid question or two...be gentle.

Spent 20 minutes trying to find the battery yesterday...LOL>

Nice Africa is a great place to have a defender. How easy are 110s to get there? Thinking about applying to a job there and would want a 25 year old one to bring back to the states.

You'll want one that is both 25 years old and in the original configuration, ie stock as far as the engine, transmission, and steering wheel position (right hand drive verses left hand drive). There is a way to decode the vin to figure all that out.

Uncle Douglas, a forum member here can handle your importation paperwork and provide everything you need.

Welcome aboard.
