Hello from VT

Picked up a 86 D90 2.5NA in the fall. Just really starting to get things sorted at this point. Looking forward to learning from the community.

I'll get some pictures up for sure.

I live at the top of Bolton and am around the Burlington area most of the time. I'm the crazy person cruising around in the bright orange RHD one using it as their daily driver.

Beautiful area Zack, I and a couple others here did the Vermont Overland Trophy a couple years ago. Fantastic wheeling there.

Chris -

Welcome, indeed! Caught your 90 out of the corner of my eye in Richmond the other evening... looks great! The color made me miss my s/c Tacoma (aka "The Great Pumpkin") that I just sold. Note the repurposed RN stainless rack off a D90 SW.

Busted!

Yes, the Taco made it a little over a year... it all came down to expecting too much from one vehicle. The 4WD and supercharger were supposed to satisfy some of the traits of the 911s; the pickup bed for utility; the 4-door cab as close to a minivan as I'll allow. But it didn't do anything really well, especially towing which I do a surprising amount of regularly (Airstream, boat, car trailer). Although it lacks character, a 2016 Silverado does the latter really well.

That's not fair. The Taco was a gem off-road and darned handy day-to-day. But it didn't carry its weight when loaded up.

I was, of course, being facetious about the 911 reference... hands down, the most fun to drive vehicles I've owned to date. Just the right amount of power when needed, but still not enough that you can't enjoy 3rd and 4th gears. Too bad the private equity groups took them away from us and stuck them in storage.
