Glad to know there are Hillbilly's elsewhere - nice trucks!
Is there anything left of the original series, besides the vin?

Wink My 2 trucks

The series believe it or not is still pretty standard by British offroading standards.
The only mods are the 200tdi engine (defender grill fitted for quickness but it would have still been possible to leave the series grill in place if we had changed the location of the intercooler)
Still has leaf springs (although they are parabolics)
Up graded the tyres to 33by 12 and a half by 15 so had to lift the floor pan by 2 inches to allow the wheels to travel into the arches better.
Disc brakes and disc hand brake fitted as you all know how well series ones work!!
And fitted Warns front and back cause we still get stuck!!
The Tombraider is my every day drive (except when she shows off at LRO LRE etc) and is fully kitted up with all the Tombraider add ons you can buy (it was the demo truck used by LR to the dealers.)
Both trucks are also fitted with CBs and Garmin GPS as we travel in the Alps, Ireland and Wales quite abit.
Did you notice the vin on the Raider? T9OMB !!! it is a Tombraider AND a 90!! clever eh??
As for pics of me well................

No problem Mandy Your Series looks like it is set up real well, I like the rear winch and I love the galvanized capping! What is the big red and white board with lights on the roof rack of the 90? Is it for emergencies? And I like the tire cover on the 90, it may get allot of looks.

Oh and Don't let these guys intimidate you about being a girl, there just always surprised to see a female rover owner and are in disbelief.

Thats ok Mike they wont intimidate me!! in order to fit in with the LR crowd over here theres no time to be Girlie ! but its fun at socials to dress up and get some strange looks as they are used to seeing me in combats boots and mud!!!
The rear winch set up is to make it easier for me to get in the back of the truck (am only 5ft 2)
the light board on the Raider is for when we lead convoys across the Alps it helps the rear truck to see us!!
I had the wheel cover hand painted by a signwritter friend of mine, just a little girlie touch for shows but on the motor ways it is fun to watch the car behing spot it and then the vin plate and then hear them call me Lara croft as they go by!!
Will dig out some more pics of me "getting dirty" later!!!!!
