Future defender owner from Georgia

A little background. I just turned 16 and have had my sights set on a defender for a number of years. Finally 16 so it is finally time to find one and pull the trigger. I am looking forward to finding the right one and doing the work on it myself. If anyone has any suggestions for a defender, it would be much appreciated. My price range is <16k but may be able to get help up from parents to get to 17k. I would love a 110 but would be content with a 90.

Ps- excited to be a part of this community!

Welcome. For that price range you could buy a Tithonus 110. Great trucks and good bang for the buck. What part of Georgia ? You can also come to the Florida event in a couple of weeks and drive mine.

Unfortunately that would be too long of a haul. I live around the Alpharetta area on the north side of Atlanta. Thank you for the offer though. I will look into the Tithonus 110's.

Well at the price point you will be driving a RHD manual which in my view is the right way to go!!

PS. I have also wanted a Defender for a long time but in my case had to wait a bit longer. Just purchased her as 50th year birthday present!

Congrats! And Happy 50th! I feel like rhd manual is the classic defender anyways.
