Finally!

long story short...

I bought an incredibly clean 90 a couple of months back, always knowing I would've loved a 110. I found out a local 130 was for sale, and shortly after came to find out a lifelong family friend was the owner! I called him, told him I'd love to buy it, but had to pull off a couple of miracles to make it possible... Well, after many hoops jumped through (selling my 90, my ram 3500 cummins, etc.) I pulled off, with much help from a higher power... a miracle!!!!

I pick up my '84 Defender130 tomorrow morning, and it's actually mine. Many thanks to Todd (discotdi) for the help along the way.

Can't stop smiling!

Congrats. Post some pics, when you have it home. A 130 is the only vehicle I could imagine having other than my 110.

I think technically an '83 was a hand built 127. the 130 came along about 1989(?) with the intro of the factory built frame, 200tdi and the Defender name. That makes yours even cooler, especially if is factory lhd. Congrats.
