Swap a TD5 for V8? I wouldn't do it to achieve any "look"

Why?

Cage some like. Pulling a td5 for a v8 is retarded

Lights on the pick up bed are set up differently. Waste of time. Stick to posting about sluts. Your defender ideas are terrible.

Hey now, there are 130 station wagons that do exist. and some people actually prefer V8 petrol to diesel, especially people who want bowler like performance.

I prefer the v8 but no way I would destroy a td5 to get one.

I think the td5 will out run nas v8! More torque more speed and way more fuel efficient! The td5 is a bad ass engine.
If you talk about the bowler, it never does well with Dakar! Look at the VW touareg diesels they out run all other makes.

But if he is swapping that td5 for a V8 I would be happily to take his td5

So yeah, I think that would be the ultimate D, a NAS style 130 station wagon with cage. That would be sick.

When we were in Africa for a month this August driving in a 130, we spent the entire time after the first week wishing we were in a 110 SW instead for the comfort. The crampness of the 130 second row wears on an adult fast that is over 6' tall. The utility of that pickup bed is pretty handy though. really comes down to right tool for the job. SW is just superior for a people mover.
