The "new" version of the truck looks good.

There seems to be an overall lack-of-love for the 1980's stripe package that Land Rover offered. It seems to me that most folks are moving forward without them.

Did you not like the stripes or just too hard to reproduce them after the paint job?

Good choice of color.

I am OK with the stripes, but they were never my cup of tea. Stripes/graphics normally add a couple horsepower and even that couldn't help the 2.5NA.

Everyone should have a truck that makes them excited to drive it, and if they want stripes that's great with me.

It does look like a paint job, but I tore this down to the frame, welded up issues, made a new rear cross member, replaced rear floor, rebuilt and swapped to sliding doors, resealed every engine seal.... So much learning and work. Paint turned out to be easy.
