Thanks Guys - I am actually based in Charlottesville, so somewhat local. Wife has wanted a white ST for years (really a 97 - auto, but prices have gotten insane on those) - this truck needs some work but she can use and improve over time (and maybe even put in that auto...)

Will keep my eye out for you Ethan - I have kept a close eye on the listings for awhile and wouldn't expect that to change.

Now go get that Arles 1997 D90 for sale here it looks pretty darn clean and seems in your price range.

Truck is still for sale. $37k takes it - couldn't convince my wife to put up with the manual. If you want it call Betty:202-430-4473

I test drove that 90 at the Audi dealer just to see if I fit in the Rovers. At the time I was debating on picking one up in South Africa.
First time sitting in one as well. Drove like crap, smelled like crap but loved every second of it.

Following are the "before" pictures; I took them the day it was traded in. Essentially they did a quick and dirty paint job on the rust areas and only a few weeks ago got the masking tape off of the (one remaining) rear reflector. The last time I walked the dog past it (I live behind the dealership) the paint on the rear crossmember appeared to be mis-matched. The dent behind the PS door was partially straightened. There are certainly worse NAS trucks out there, but this one does need some love. Note that it only has the hard top. There have been a good number of test drives to date, they've now moved it to the back of the lot.

And yes, I would have purchased it the day I took these pictures if I felt it was worth anywhere near the asking price.

Feel free to ask for additional pictures, it's easy enough to take the dog around the block!

Tony
