Another Washingtonian!

Heh all,
long time lurker on Defendersource, finally introducing myself now that my 109 finally made it thanks to Uncle Doug.

If you're ever near Seattle (Woodinville), give me a holler to come talk Rovers.

My 109 is a 1983 109 County Station Wagon, RHD in Masai Red. It's very original, with the exception of a 200 TDI transplant.

future plans are to make some safety improvements. (Disc Brake upgrade, seat belts in the rear, power steering) then drive the heck out of it

My other Rovers are getting jealous. My daily driver is a 2004 D2 that I've spent some time building. I just finished the first stage of work on a '93 RRC LWB in Alpine White and I've got a low mileage '03 D2 sitting in my shop waiting for me to buy her a new engine (catastrophic engine failure)

She's a bit of a 15 footer. Sitting in Port in the rain for so long took a bit of a toll on the headliner and some miscreant stole the factory stereo out of it! oh well, time to get to work!

To be clear, Robbie's truck didn't clear customs with a 200 in it. We had Foley's pull the 200 and stick a 2.25 back in to get it into the US. She looks great to me.

I'm still trying to clear the stress from having work done to my truck from 5000 miles away out of my head so thanks for clarifying that the engine was pulled.

Here's Clare with her "new" 2.25 Petrol engine. Please don't ask me how much I paid for this fine example of british engineering

The 200TDI is sitting under a tarp waiting for me to get my act into gear this weekend and start working on her.
