History Surplused from Ministry of Defence in the UK and sold through Withams in Grantham and exported directly to Canada. Has not been modified in any way.

Brackets on front bumper are for a yard A bar for shunting during engine rebuild.

Has been given a mid life upgrade with a rebuild of the engine and gearbox in 2013.

"Rover 4" was vehicle radio call sign when in use with the RAF

Owned by the Union Jack collection for whom I work

What were these yellow ex-mod RAF trucks used for? I've heard both air traffic control as well as flight school.
