What a beauty! The 2 door 110 was my dream trail rig prior to getting my 90. Would have loved to have something with a bed long enough for me to sleep in. enjoy!

Thanks! I'm happy I went with a 110. Plenty of room for passengers, gear and like you said room for sleeping inside.

Not sure where post #1 went to.
Here it is again...

My dream vehicle has always been a defender. I finally pulled the trigger on this RHD 200 Tdi that I will be using as my daily driver it needs a little TLC but I still love it.

65 mph top speed ???

With the 200TDI, you should be able to cruise 75 MPH on the flat, so you may have the original 1.6 transfer case... swap it out for a 1.2 from a V8 Disco and suddenly your scale of top speed jumps by 10 - 15 MPH (depending on weather you are on flat roadway or up or down hill). Down hill = more speed and up hill is less (should add a quote reference from Jethro Bodine or something).

Your 110 probably had a 2.25 - 2.5 N/A Diesel or petrol that needed that 1.6 to almost keep up with slow moving traffic. The 200TDI should be able to pull much higher gears.

This will improve your LR owner experience.

Welcome to the marque!

You are correct it still has the 1.6 in the future I may look into switching it out but for. It I'm just enjoying driving it.
