1972 Land Rover nas series III 88
History In 2003 I received a phone call from a guy looking to off load this 88, he moved out to texas in 1979 and left this rover his in mother's garage in CT. In 2003 his mother passed away and he needed to sell the house and everything in it, including this 88 with 52,114 original miles, complete with a snow plow and overdrive. $1000 took it home and I spent the summer before I turned 16 getting it road worthy. Since then I have replaced the frame, rebuilt the transmission twice, and replaced the engine this past summer.

In the summer of 2011 I rolled it over, prompting the installation of 4 point cage, fabricated by Wade Swift of Swift Innovations in Groton CT (http://www.swiftinnovations.com).
Exterior
The only straight body panel left is the driver's side door bottom. Custom front bumper also by swift innovation, to increase the approach angle and provide stronger recover points, and it will soon have a warn/belleview 8274 predecessor installed.
