ZF transmission question

Are all of these the same? I just bought a 95 SWB RRC and it needs a new tranny. Can i get one out of any RRC or Disco?

Thanks Matt. Can you tell me what you mean by better? Will later model Disco transmission fit? Seems like there are more of those around.

How about the early p38s? again seem like there are more of those around here.

All DI will fit. You should make sure to get the torque converter and all the shims to the flex plate also. Use your flex plate.

The newer trans is updated and although the exact spec I can't remember.....it is much smoother and I'm pretty sure the torque converter was improved also.
