yet another Redline question

so, I was going to buy some Redline MTL for my LT77 gerabox but on the label it says to use D4 Redline ATF for trannys that call for ATF from the manufacturer. So, what is the deal, use Redline ATF or MTL?
Or just use standard ATF which I can get for free from work?

THX

LT77 I use type F ATF.

Others have used MTL in them, but it is not clear cut like the R380.

I use MTF94 fluid in my gear box. Works great. It can be difficult to find but if you have a MINI Cooper dealership around you can get it there cheap. They gave me 2 gallons for about $30 and a free car wash.

MTL is a better choice, unless you live in the arctic, then a synthetic ATF would be better.
