Wolf rear axle

Can one fit a wolf rear axle to a normal 110 without modifications?

Sounds right.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

If its drum to disc brake you need to change the whole braking system with newer master cyl , proportioning valve etc etc. make sure the gearing is the same.. 3:54 if I recall... Just did this conversion recently, but I changed to the later front ventilated discs too.. Took all the stuff off a Canadian UK army defender.. Did it all on the side of the road..literally..

Here's what I found on the web ...

-"A real Wolf rear axle has welded on gussets from the axle tube down to the bottom of the diff pan so it looks like a very shallow angle "V" if you look along the underneath of the vehicle, not like a normal diff just hanging down in one place."

But are they interchangeable with a civilian 110?
