Wing Protector Installation

When installing the wing protectors, is any type of insulation used between it and the body? Any install tips would be great.

thanks

Steve

I used pond liner (from Home Depot) and used 3M spray ahdesive to attach the liner to the wing protector.

Pond liner works great, OEM Rover stuff comes with a die-cut pad.

1/16" rubber, use the wing protector as a template then spray 3m adhesive on all surfaces.

this will prevent the wing protector from vibrating and driving you insane.

I just waxed well both wings and wings protectors.
If you put some insulation stuff, it will keep water
out, BUT if water goes in beetween (and it will...),
then how it will come out...
I used 3/16-32 x 3/4 button head socket s/s screws
with nylon and metal washers under and nylock nuts.
Remenber to paint the holes.
