Whose interested in 1350 LT230 and Diff driveshaft flanges

So I'm getting some Ford 9" flanges for 1350 ujoints turned down for my buggy project. Any of you guy's running the higher HP LS motors interested in a stronger driveshaft set-up…

Any pics of what you are working on? I usually use Cruiser drivelines, and machine the DII front output to fit, but this could be a good option too...

Here's the Ver 1.0…this was cut a little too short, but still has sufficient clearance for the 1350 joint.

Looks really good

Will the bolt/shaft have to be shaved or does it clear?

Edit - I just re-read your post - never mind

Would be interested for both front & rear, my rear has the X-brake on it so the yolk needs to have a flange welded to it for the disc to bolt too. Like this... also robbed from Pirate

Or I stick with a setup like this using a steady bearing from Rakeway Eng. in the UK. As I'm just running a stock 5.3 and 35's... it'd prob be more than adequate as that is truck is running 37's and a well tuned 200tdi. Not to mention the Spidertrax axles and True Hi9's

Either way, would need to decide in the next 2 weeks as have wife heading back to see family over in the UK and Rakeway are local to where we used to live so one will be coming back with her.

They sent me drawings of the steady bearing before last Christmas.... I'll get my brother-in-law to give them a call.

Yup... Still in business, the steady bearings weighs about 2.5 - 3kg if that's of use. Will be getting one brought back by the wife

Going to 1350's would be worth it for me if I wasn't limiting myself to 35 or 36's but I don't want to limit flex to get the larger size of tire, so solid H/D Spicer 1310's should work fine....

I hope......

I'm building them because of horsepower, not tire size.

Can you please send me Rakeway's contact info, I called the number on the website yesterday and today got a fast busy…Or maybe you could bring back 2…

That's the number we used, just have to keep trying. Can't bring 2 back, don't have enough luggage allowance. Another option that may be better suited is :

Ultimate Driveshaft Carrier Bearing - Essentially Offroad Store
