I agree...keep it simple. Don't rule out OME, I'm very happy with mine. I also went with OME MD rear springs under my 85 110. I'm running the 255/85's and there is plenty of clearance as I got about 2" of lift. There was some body roll when the roof rack is loaded but I controled that with good shocks and I like the flex of the MD springs. Does your 110 have the load leveling unit? If so you don't really need the progresive spings in the rear as the LL unit will take care of the increased loads as does mine.

Actually leaning that way after this discussion. Never wanted anything complicated, just like the idea of progressive springs. Sounds like OME is a good option, I just had heard from some that the ride was "harsh", which is of course subjective. Micheal, what shocks are you using? I already have OME shocks. Also, do you have a gas or diesel? I have a 200TDI, so I guess the question now is MD or HD up front, because I plan to have a winch/bumper in the future. Thanks to everyone for all the advice!

I've got OME shocks. I would think that with the diesel and a future winch in the works you would want HD up front. I've got a winch and thats what I went with.

Michael, do you remember if your springs were 751 or 766?

I have OME 752s in the rear and original equip (NRC6388/NRC7000) in the front. Love it.
