Who has a tuffy box in their D?

Definitely want to get one. Doing my research noticed that the defender's need a mount kit with it. What's in that kit? what does it look like? Can it be fabbed instead?

basically it comes with 2 one inch spacers to lift the rear end up over the seam of the bulkhead behind the seats. You can definitely fab this up yourself. I am pretty sure that is all the kit consists of, but it may come with longer bolts.

If I remember correctly, it is a very easy install. Took me abour 1/2 hour... Mine is in a bit crooked though, must have been the Coronas consumed during installation..........

Doesn't the Tuffy only fit in the 94 and 95?

Funny story about that

Paul, I would assume they would fit the '97s as well?
