For half the price of that you can get twice the truck. If you do not believe me, go drive that, then come over to my place and test drive my perentie.

It looks like they bought a ~$8k MOD truck, replaced a couple of lights, maybe put on some new coil springs, restitched some seats, and then drove it over to MAACO. Oh and aromor-all'd the crap out of it. Not really a restoration, so they probably did it in-house. Doesn't look like a $70k truck. For that type of price I'd sell you my D90 which is way nicer.

They have three of them listed, all for big money and zero work besides paint and screw on bits.

Also insane price tags, you can get truly re-built vehicles for that kind of money

Wasnt an $8k MOD truck, that was LHD V8, they probably have $20k into buying the truck, unless they sourced it themselves.

I wasnt denying that is was MoD, just that it wasn't an MoD that cost $8k, i would guess the cost was closer to $20k. I've seen Derek's LHD V8 MoD truck, so a few exist.

Agreed, I tried to search earlier but could not get it to pop up.

I actually think that 90 looks pretty good. I don't think it's worth what they are asking, but I do like the truck.

That's a great guess, but Alex Selden is buying and shipping them directly from the Netherlands, so yes Selden may have spent $20k, but likely for all 3 trucks.

The overseas source for that dealership is The Landrovers in NL. Daniel Van Oordt there is a member of this forum. Fairly certain this is his work.
