Which rims…steelies or alloy

So the truck we've been re-building is finally done (it's getting detailed, so no pic's yet) but what are your guy's thoughts on rims? Obviously we'll clean up and paint or powered coat the the steelies…

So…opinions

Go steel (paint them black) or go home. Fancy wheels are for mall cruisers, posers and NYC Boost Club members.

If we're comparing those alloys with those steelies, then absolutely keep the alloys and sell the steelies.

I don't like those steel wheels, but I also don't like the hub cap sticking out of the wheel center.

Both.
Alloys for around town. Steel for off road.
I have a set of NATO wheels with Dunlop Mud Rovers. I switch them out before an adventure.

white steelies would look great but not those white steelies. NAS 110 or Wolf/NATO would look much better IMO. if you stick with alloys, put some spacers on so the hub cab doesn't stick out

I have a set original rims, that are white (agree black would look ghey) but was saving them for another truck…
If I keep the alloy's, I will use spacers…Maybe I let the buyer decide…

All right, enough with the black wheel bashing. I like my BLACK steel wheels and I like women and I hate Bette Midler music and quiche.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Who needs a mall? Adventure can be as close as your local Land Rover dealership......

I did. Now I need for it to cool off so I can get started on that project.

Steel wheels would have prevented this for sure.

I think Nerfs and 17" steal wheels would have been needed to avoid this

if that's the truck, I'd definitely roll w/ steelies. I'm a fan of Boosts and Deep Dish on some D's, just not ones with the ole-school look.
ANR1534s would look nice.
