Which linkage is the Drag Link

Hi All

I know this is a stupid question but I am going to ask it anyhow, any help is greatly appreciated.

I know there are two main linkages at the front of my D90 for steering, The Drag link and the Track rod.

I recently bent the rear one (the one that connects the two wheel together) and have done a good enough job that it needs replacement and so I ordered a new drag link from a local engineering company over the net.

I think that they have sent me a Track rod instead but before I ring up and complain I wanted to check my facts/names are correct.

The unit they have sent is about 32 inches long and the one I was expecting should have been about 48 inches

Have I stuffed up or have I been sent the wrong part?

Michael

The drag link is the one in the front that connects to the steering box. The track rod(tie rod) is the one in the back.
