Which lights would you mount?

I'm considering mounting some aux lights up front. It seems that Hella 4000's are the way to go, but I'm not sure if they'll fit right. I would prefer the lights to fit between the bars. So, I'm open to suggestions.

The knock off ARB intensity's dwarf my 4000s. But i am only running 55w H1s in them. I plan to change that.

4000s are deep and would require some cutting to your grill (if it wouldn't also still hit the radiator) I believe. 550s fit fine, but there must be better out there. Hella 1000 Black Magics are popular as well.

How much do you want to spend?

Something round looks better in my opinion.

Check out the PIAA LP570. That's what Im thinking of.
PIAA | LP570 7" LED Driving Light Kit, SAE Compliant #05772

I like the round look and I like that they are LED without being a light bar and without using a huge LED array like the ARB lights.

2nd on my list are the Baja Designs XL Pro series of lights.
XL80, LED Driving/Combo

they are insane bright but don't have that classic look.

If you don't want to spend that much, look at some Hella 500 or 1000's.Fraction of the price of the LED stuff.

I think there are a lot of good options out there. Just comes down to what you like and how much you want to spend.

Where is the rest of your cage? Missing the front part?

Also where is your winch?

Thanks for the info guys, keep it coming.
Barry the front bar somehow got lost in the shuffle while getting a galvy frame etc. It's a long story. I do however have the winch, i just need to put it on.

Hella makes a small 4000 as well. I like them for there light quality, but also they are alloy housings. Pretty sturdy. Check out rallylights.com

You can buy that bar easily.

Barry- Do you have one that you're holding out on?

Vasily- I prefer the round lights as well, I think that they look more traditional. I'm not sure that i want to shell out the $$$ for the Led lights.

Some hella or piaa halogens sounds like the way to go. Someone mentioned the 4000 compact. I'm not sure how deep that light is so I don't know if it will fit, but the diameter would be a near perfect fit.

I'd talk with L8 about getting a replacement cross piece. Important for structural rigidity.

I love my Vision X! Look great and throw the beam a long way. Not a very wide beam though, need to get a light bar up top for that.
