Which 90's can go soft top or no top?

It looks like only 90's with a tailgate can have the top removed and a soft top installed. Is that correct? Is there a specific designation for those with a tailgate that I should be looking for? If not, is it simple enough to swap the back door for a tailgate? Thanks.

Swap the door for a tailgate and find a home for the spare if it is door mounted.

To add further confusion NAS soft tops have a side swing tailgate.

Do all tops just bolt on and off then? No cutting?

depending on your use, you might get one with a roll cage. Actually, I wouldn't buy one without a cage If you want to take the roof off, then get an internal cage.
