Of course. I'll take care of it. Keep an eye on your PayPal account for a partial refund.

Garrison Outfitters Window Rubbers

Have just installed my Garrions Outfitters window rubbers, and they are Brilliant !!! No more rattles.

The only problem I had was that since I drive an ex Australian Army LR they had siliconed the pieces together, so needed some old fashion grunt to get them apart. But after that all went well, took about 20 mins per window.

One nice touch is that my doors were all affixed by screws, so no need to drill out and re pop rivets.

Would totally recommend them

Rgds

I did the windows in my D90 what was previously owned by the OP of this thread. I used the Garrison kit which was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed that it didn't include the double sided tape that goes between the window assembly and the body. Both of mine leak around there. Mine had also been previously taken apart and put back together with rivets that had been cut down to fit in the channel.

Love my Garrison Kit! Double sided tape? On the bottom of the frames? I cut a rubber gasket for that application. Works like a charm.

The part I am talking about is what goes between the painted aluminum on the body (roof sides) and the window assembly. Its the same part that you have to slice in order to separate the top and bottom of the window assembly.

Start at 0:40 in this video... . They call it a foam weather seal, but it looks more like double sided tape to me.

I just reused mine as they were in great shape. I do not believe they need to be replaced unless in poor shape. Washed the defender and zero leaks. Love the garrison upgrade.

All that I've ever rec'd from Garrison has held up amazingly well, except for the initial rivets he provided which he immediately changed out from the kit and overnighted me the replacements.

Does anyone know if Garrison makes window channel kits for D90/110 doors that use hand-cranked windows (i.e.: not sliding windows)? I've combed the thread and couldn't find an offering here, nor on their website.

If they don't, has anyone here found a suitable replacement? Thanks.

You just look up the type of door you have in the parts catalog and order the pieces as needed. They should all be available.

Allbrit MG ROVER & Land Rover Ersatzteilkatalog

The felt for the sliding windows is cheap as chips and available as well. The Garrison kit is just a higher quality alternative. Being a cheap bastard, I just use the felt. It works fine. I do have his wonderful underseat box though. What someone should be reproducing is the plastic inserts for the sliders.

Just ordered a set for the rear windows I plan to rebuild for my restoration. After I put them in, will it be financially viable to restore the windows that are in it now & sell them? What's a restored used pair worth?
