Where to find a Panhard Rod?

So, my mechanic said I needed a new front tracking rod. I inquired among the experts here and got some very helpful advice about the front tracking rod and the tie rod ends. So, when I called my mechanic to confirm before I ordered, he said, "NO, it doesn't have tie rod ends, it has bushes at the ends and supposedly this part, which I have come to learn is a panhard rod, along with a steering stabilizer, will supposedly eliminate the play in my steering wheel. I can;t recall any play in the steering before I replaced my steering box with a remanufactured one from meridian ( to the tune of almost $400). Anyway, can anyone tell me where I can find a panhard rod assembly stateside for a ROW 1984 rhd defender 90? Have found later years. Thanks

I have one, but you really just need to replace the bushings.

Get an adjustable one from Lucky8. Terrafirma makes a nice one. But it should only be the bushings.

You guys I am sure are right, I probably only need the bushings... it doesn't look bent. It looks like a heavy piece of steel. However, I guess I will need the bushings. Does anyone know where I can get the bushings for a 84 ROW d-90 rhd? Are they commonly available from Roversnorth or any of the other common sources?
Thanks again for the input. If I actually need the rod itself, I will let you guys know and take you up on your generous offers.

Thanks Zack. Just ordered the bushes and steering damper from Rovers North, along with incidentals.
