Where to get and what back spacing do you recommend want to run a 285 or a 33 if I go 15inch.

Trek outfitters. Tina is a sweetheart and she can arrange custom backspacing if you want.

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

What backspacing should I get to retain my turning radius? I like the fatter tire look on the defenders I just want to get a wider tire for the sand down here at the beach.

for a 12.50 you could go 10in wide. That would give you a good stance. 4in backspacing would allow you to go full lock. I might be interested in selling mine, you can look at them in the Front Suspension post. PM if you are interested. I can give you more detail on backspacing too.

I agree with David on the 4" backspacing but I like a 15x8. It gives you a slight sidewall bulge which helps protect the rim if you wheel in rocks and generally a tire mounted on a 15x8 stands a bit taller than the same tire mounted on a 15x10.

come on Tiz, I'm thinking about selling my wheels here! Your right though, 8 are better for rocks, but for sand, the 10 would create a larger contact patch.
