Wheel Spacer Gray Market Defender

I've imported a few Defenders in from Italy and I want to make one of them look a bit more like an NAS while keeping the others as is. I was looking to add some NAS rims and it seems like I'll need some wheel spacers. Any suggestions on affordable yet safe wheel spacers? Thanks!

No suggestions on spacers, but what is a "gray market" defender?

If you want to be specific, ROW = non-NAS, non-ckd, non-uk home market.

To me, gray market = illegal

I'd use ROW if I were you.

I bought a set of wheel adapters on EZAccessory | Wheel Adapters, Suspension Parts, Lug Nuts & More. They shipped fast, the price was reasonable, and they were quality made parts. That site was previously recommended on this forum.

However, they didn't fit the OEM alloy wheel right. Their only solution was to send them back. I had my buddy who's a machinist mill the face of the spacer so that the OEM alloy will fit on the hubcentric portion of the spacer. Never had an issue since. You can also get the adapters that aren't hubcentric.

So there's that.

Because that's what it means . If it's legally imported and not NAS, it's an ROW truck. I'm sure there are some exceptions or something, but gray market implies it wasn't legally imported.

Edit: I immediately regret opening my mouth on this.

ROW is more specific like John posted above.

Wouldn't black market be illegal? My cars all came in legally. 25+ years old = exempt from EPA/HSA.

When I Google it I get this: A gray market vehicle, also known as an overseas vehicle, is a vehicle whose owner has brought it into the United States from another country and wishes to have it titled and registered here.

This article always sends shivers down my back:

Shouldn't any standard wheel fit with out the need for spacers. Or are you trying to run larger tires?
