whats wrong with my spacer?

I am using steel lug nuts but the clearance on the spacer is not allowing me to use a socket to tighten the lug nut.

what am I doing wrong?

not to sound flip but you might have to find a thin walled socket

Did those lugs come with the spacers? Usually there are special narrow lug nuts required for spacers.

EZAccessory.com

16mmx1.5 thread. It's called an open end bulge acorn nut.

Of course it doesn't look like they have them. I seem to recall that I had to change my wheel studs to fit the proper nut, ie one they actually sold.

That's where I got mine from. Just give them a call and they'll hook you up.
