Okay, valid point, that's not an issue where I live. I don't know if this is relevant, but I imagine a GEMS truck would have a better time at passing an emissions test than a 14CUX truck.

They don't plug in pre-obd2 vehicles where I get inspections, so it's always a pass if the CEL isn't on.

It's not a huge deal really, just one of a few annoying things to me. I also like the ability to swap to a tdi and still pass.
