maybe you can move them to the headlight bezel and switch to a 95-97 style lamp.

There is a thread here detailing how to rewire the turn signal to the running lights

Remove them and use the second running light. Very easy.

Someone else can chime in...but I even thing the plug is on the harness to do so (I found this out after I cut mine...)

So I moved turn signals to running lights. Bulb 105 is too big for 1994 housing. And with original running light bulb it blinks too fast. Any ideas? Any shorter bulbs?

Doesn't answer your question but I changed the lower marker lights on my truck for a set of dual filament housings so I could still have running lights but also a turn signal utilizing 1157 (I think) bulbs.

I bought the plinths and lenses for a 95/97 when I installed my rockware bumper. I had to hole saw a new hole to fit the lense tail that holds the bulb. I also bought the headlight trim to match the 95/97. I modified the old turn signal wires to match the newer connector style. I had some "bonus" connectors on my harness and used them. But I think you can buy new style replacement connectors and they have the bullet connectors if you don't want to cut anything.

As others are saying, the easiest way is to change the bottom running lights into the turn signals. That being said, I really like the look of the 4 running lights on the 94's and wanted to keep that look. I picked up some lights like these which are not stock for the 94 NAS trucks but are a close fit (a little trimming/massaging is necessary).

I actually got them from Justin @ Lucky 8 rather than paying the shipping across the pond. To these I added a set of pigtails from AB (http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/8959ABP.cfm) to make wiring simple.

Unlike the stock 94 marker lights which are set up with a removable (marginally sealed) lens, these lights have a sealed front lens and the bulb/holder lock into the housing from the rear with a gasket. I wheel my truck as often as I can and enjoy water so I found that with the stock bulbs I was blowing them out often or filling them with water and mud. Since the change I have not had any problems. I am in the process now of doing the same modification to the top marker lights but will leave them as marker only but hope to gain the same water resistance

The green and black wires heading off to the right are the wires to the 94' bumper mounted turn signal. Converting the lower marker light into a turn signal is as simple as unplugging the red and black wires from the marker light and plugging them into the same connector off the main wiring harness that you just removed the green and black wires from. They both use the same size barrel connectors. 5 minute job.
