pics of the console show the ipod, nicely tucked away. The sub is in the rear. Only pictures I forgot were the overhead speakers in the headliner.

The speaker crossovers barely fit in the door panels due to their thickness but they work.

Sorry for the quality, I didn't get home until late and it is dark.
I'm impressed Dave [with your system]. Is this speaker/Ipod system a DYI or did it just involve writing a check. Either way it looks pretty clean, which is tough to do in the limited space of a D90.

One more thing.

Where are your compressor and amp mounted? I can't tell from the pictures where you've stashed it but is it under the passengers seat?

DJ

PS Nice boots.

6.5s will fit with trimming in the doors for sure, I don't know about the SW rears. I think you should be able to wire in a bigger amp fairly easily.

Thanks DJ. I missed the post. The install is all DYI. Relatively easy in the '97 because you can reuse the wiring from radio to amp and even amp to speakers if you really wanted to. I chose not to since the door panels needed to come off to fit the tweeters properly.

Yes, Amp and compressor are in the passenger seat compartment. The nice thing about the location is the wiring can be run through the grommets and above the Transfer case to make everything look stock. Although that marine amp is far from stock... fugly.

yeah, I never leave home without my boots. Jorge appreciates them too...
