What is this?

There is a plastic piece around the base of my roll cage angle bar. Anyone know why it is there?

IIRC it is for covering a little gap in the fiberglass hard top. I could be completely wrong though.

Yeah, that's left over from a hard top install. I've never seen it before, maybe its home-made. I have seen the foam piece, that comes with the top, but you can remove them both if you want to.

I dont thin it is home made, I had them stock on an 94 NAS ST.

I have those. I believe it's part of the "retrofit" kit needed to install fiberglass hard top on 94s only.
If it wasn't there with the hardtop on there would be a hole or gap on the rail letting air come through.

The "foot" on the diagonal is larger on the 95 since it is covered in rubber. The hole in the hardtop is big enough for the larger foot. My hardtop just came with a piece of foam to fill in the gap.

It is part of the 94 fiberglass top kit. Factory part.
