Question What is so special about this 90?

Is it just me.. or is does this dealer have a few loose nuts himself?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...i%3D1&viewitem=

I mean seriously... 45K? Or am I missing something? Like it's made of platinum?

Low-ish miles, unmolested NAS truck. Doesn't mean that it's a good truck, it's just what some people are looking for.

What the hell is up with the seat covers and that gearshift and missing mats? I also saw a mangled piece of plastic in one of those shots. I'm guessing that a dog destroyed the interior at some point.

well I was almost with the seller to start with, very clean very stock, super low miles, a collector's wet dream, not platinum but the much more expensive unobtanium... then the interior photos started... zebra? seriously?

oh the humanity!!!

That dealer gets low miles Defenders, but there's always at least one crazy thing about them.

Check out the For Sale - Traffic Cone thread I started the other day...same dealer.

He's from NJ, too

There is a local dealer in Montreal also selling an Arles Blue truck at about the same price, but in $CAN. Too much... But, as a friend pointed out, if someone will pay this price, and someone eventually will, then I guess it must be OK.

I hope it sells for top dollar. Forget that I am trying to sell a truck right now but we should all want these things to go for this much. It serves us all well if people get top dollar

As with everything, the price is related to what the market will bear.

Spent 10k getting the tires that shiny and another 5k for the paint buffed that well.

In all seriousness, its a damn nice 90. minus the seats. color is sweet.

NJ Zebra Rover

I saw this truck a few weeks ago. First, the "dealer's" lot looks more like a salvage yard. Second, the truck has more like 150K miles on it. The stick shift knob was worn smooth, the pedals were well worn, and the interior was a complete wreck. I assume that the odometer has a different build date than the truck. One look in the engine compartment revealed an engine that had done some serious time. If I wanted to take my chances I'd pay no more than $20K. Just the fact that the dealer hasn't taken the time to replace or recover the seats says a lot. It's obvious that they do most of their business over the internet (since anybody who visits their yard would think twice), so why not at least put some lipstick on this pig?
