So...from your post I gather you've been driving this truck around without ever even checking the coolant before?

That's brave...

Three cans of rust protector to protect under side. Done

I have only checked collant level through the overfill tank. Gotta get a rad flush and regular prestone.

Threw on those 34 in xcl tires.
Actually quieter than the 32s comparably

Anyone want to buy a set of 32in bfg mud terrains for a trail rig? Wouldn't recommend them for everyday use

ZF swap

A very good friend asked me for this.
His rig is a 1984 LR 110.
Several years ago he changed the original NA Diesel engin by a 300tdi with R380 and LT 230 out of a Disco I.
Since then he had a very smart design inside the cabin.

And he likes additional strings inside!
Side tanks are a PITA when trying to remove the bolts securing the gearbox crossmember!

Some pix:

Up to this stadium 29 hours of work were needed.
And there's still work left over.

1) The Wolf interfered with the electric AC fans.
B) That is one of Carls (Tiktaalik) grills.

I asked the same question to me, last time when doing my ZF swap.
No seal leads the engin oil running out, that's my expereance!

Maybe I made a mistake when renewing the T-rubber seals?

Newertheless, I'll do it twice.

Put the light bar on that I picked up off the forum. Need to decide if I want to stick with round lamps (it has mounts for 4) or put a LED Light bar up there. I know the light bar is the way to go just not sure if it would look stupid lol.

Put the Raptor dash binnacle and housing on - no more broken plastic shit on the dash!

Went together very well - thanks to Dave @ ULC for a quick painless delivery of the product.

Is that the L side- rear most ZF pan bolt?
I had a terrible time with that--had to put in a 300TDI-ZF kickdown cable.

Leftside rear most ZF oil pan bolt!

That's the correct location.

Kickdown cable is lokated at the bracket.
But needs to be relocated a little bit to the front, to be honest.

Got my TD5 light surrounds in today from Lucky8. So I went ahead and installed them along with the LED lights before dinner.

I'm really happy with how it lifts the look of the front of the 110.

I installed a set of Eric Browns SS oil cooler lines from trailhead today... They are pretty awesome.
