Replaced my 200tdi's dip stick tube with a replacement from Craddocks.

The original part used a 20mm wrench to remove. It looks like somewhere earlier in its life, it was wrapped with teflon tape near the olive to prevent oil leaks. This started to fail and resulted in an oil leak on the left side of the engine.

The replacement part was ERC8980. The replacement part uses a 22m wrench to install. The part looks similar but not identical. The part has a very bright nickel finish and has a different bend than the original.

I also installed LED brake lights, but can't do the rear turn signals because I can't find my relay. It's not behind the fuse box, apparently!
Nice, that gives it a much more modern look. I bet they are much cleaner and brighter light too!

Put in a new Kenwood BT-958HD receiver, finally wiring my subwoofer correctly, and just general cleaning up. It sounds great, I don't know why I didn't do this years ago!

Took the front seats out, stripped and painted the frames, redid the foam and the cloth with an Exmoor kit and sanded and prepped the interior for paint.

I did the same, too many areas that could leak!

Jayz, what wheels and tires do you have? I like how they look, thanks!

I primed the inside yesterday front and back. Today I painted the passenger area and the very back corners of the cargo box. Tomorrow I'll spray bed liner in the cargo area.

I am sooooo sick of masking and prepping. Please let it be done already!!!

Replaced the alternator on the LR3. Had to swap out the battery since Autozone could not test the alternator due to the battery not being good enough! Grrr! Of course the strong electric burn smell or the fact that the alternator was outputting close to 15V was not acceptable proof. Love-hate relationships with those warranties!

I sprayed the bed with Raptor Liner this morning. What an easy to use, fabulous product. All you do is add hardener to it, shake for 2 minutes and spray with a shutz gun. It took exactly 2 bottles to do the entire bed and the tailgate.
The streaks in the photo went away as it dried. The finished product is one continuous color/texture.

Do those handles pull something out?

Been following this and am impressed with your work!

oil feed plate

installed the lt230 oil fed plate and the required alloy PTO cover. one of the few projects that went exactly as planned; 30 mins, no detours or surprises. i was almost disappointed.

WIPAC lights (turn signals, brake/tail lights and front DRLs) and just LED bulbs in the fender turn signals.

Got the LED spots from eBay (Chinese made, but so bright you can see clear into next week).
