Haha. No. That's been on it since roughly 2009 right after I bought the truck. It was something like a 4 pound donation. It's held up surprisingly well.

I installed the britpart td5? slam panel. It replaced the original one that I had to cut very sloppily to fit the full size Allisport rad/intercooler.

I spent about four hours installing a Tuffy console. Should not have taken that long but it was a bit fiddly making spacers to mount it and I did have to wire-up a new stereo to go in it.

Oh, and I had my 12-yr. old son helping me which tends to add time to the process but counts for quality time together and along the way, I can hopefully teach him a thing or two.

I installed this today. I'm sure it will do nothing heater wise but it will give me a steel ground plane for my Satcom gear.

Is that Star Wars, or Mid 80's Corvette?

You're thinking LED character displays. This is a sunlight readable, low temp LCD. Has a diff-lock indicator, which is impossible to find on other digital dashes. The only downside is a 10k tach, so I run the tach signal straight (triples the RPMs). It's probably the only thing on my truck that doesn't give me problems!

I think somebody else likened the shape to a Gameboy, which I'm totally ok with.

The only other digital dash that has an integrated diff lock display is the Dakota Digital, which really looks like something David Hasselhoff himself would have endorsed

I have a massive legal problem with this, that being when I drive my Deafener my speedo needle,in true Land Rover fashion, fluctuates wildly from 30 up to 50 or 60kph.

If I'm stopped for speeding I can honestly tell the Officer "I'm sorry,I had no idea what speed I was going Officer"

With this gadget I can tell the truth but get caught at the same time

Any problem with the VDO speedo, calibration, reading mpg etc? I did all new gages and the speedo goes to 40 mpg, then bounces around and in 5th gear drops to zero?
