R380 overhauled, new transmission and transfer case fluids, fixed leaky rear main and t seals, new fuel injectors, new intake manifold gasket, new oil pan gasket, and a newish ARB bumper. Did I happen to say it's been one of the longest days ever?

I switched my wipers from RHD to LHD. Or at least that's what I hope I did...

Got the mounts all done need to finish the welding done tonight and tomorrow morning. Then back to the motor install. After that it will be on to sorting out the rear bench.

Gotta love fast shipment on a clutch kit and rad from Lucky8!

Got the refreshed headliner up, need some more of those plastic interior push pins though broke a couple on the removal. Started fitting up the TerraFirma overhead console as well.

I started my engine and I ran my windscreen wipers.

Then I shut my engine off, remembering that I haven't connected the coolant system yet. I also discovered that LHD and RHD windscreen wiper arms are different.

I also put on a bunch more of the dash, wired in the instrument panel, replaced the horn/wiper switch, and wired up my fuel shutoff solenoid.

It felt really good to hear my engine running after 2.5 months, and know that it works. It also felt really good to see my wiper boxes rotating the right way, after converting the wipers to LHD mode. I still have a lot to do by Friday night though, when this truck has to be back together and running.

I installed a roll hoop, soundproofing mat on the floor (huge difference) and started installing a lift gate.

Had a nice shop day with my baby. Changed the engine oil, topped up the transmission and transfer case fluids and painted the headlight surrounds and grill. Looks brand new (from the front)! Used OEM trim paint in matte black in case anyone cares.

Thanks. Also did my side view mirrors. Real easy. Take the trim pieces off. Rub the surface with some scotchbright pads. Degrease. Spray with OEM trim rattle can.

That's what I was thinking as well. I sanded the bumpers and tire carrier down this past weekend and shot them with a semi flat rustproofing spray. Now the bits you just painted look tired on mine. I'll touch those up this weekend to get it all done.
Thanks for the info!

Here's my partial product from this past weekend
