The teacher commented on how surprised he was that my daughter knew where everything was, the jack point, and how to change the tire. She told him 'my dad loves me, so he made me learn'. A proud moment.
We could probably start a daughter's stories thread... I read some really good stories in various threads. The daughter sneaking out and dad making police drive her home was one of the best...
My mom actually taught both my brother and I how to change a tire when we learned how to drive. Dad taught me how to jump a car. I've used both skills many times in my life.... Usually clipping my tire on a curb or leaving the light on in the car. Lol I wish more women were encouraged to know their car. I've helped some guys change their tire and helped people jump their cars before (why don't people keep cables in their car?? ) and they're always surprised. I'm grateful my husband knows how to do things and is willing to teach me! I'm so happy to hear the men on here are passing on their knowledge to their daughters!!!

Got asked by a couple of rent-a-cops on Quantico if I wanted to trade the truck for their cruiser.

Let me list what I did to the truck this month.
1- I had the fuel lines completely modified
2- created/modified the power steering lines
3- installed a turbo intercooler and setup the cooling hoses for the intercooler.

Installed a new under fender washer bottle. Only one puzzle, I can hear the motor running but no fluid is coming out.
Ran out if time today. So that will wait for another day

clogged tubing? clogged nozzles? motor in reverse? With a small motor like that I accidentally reversed the connections and it ran in reverse...not sure if thats even possible with this though

Received my second pair of roll bar pads from Badger and installed them; the roll cage looks much better with them on.
I also had to replace one of my rear tail-lights because the part that retains the bulb and socket got too hot and melted.

Should have driven it. Hand-me-down Chrysler 300M overheated and brought the coolant to a nice rolling boil. Ugh.

Scooped up about 30 lbs of scraped off waxoyl, dirt and rusty metal from the floor under my 110. Chassis repairs are done, cleaned and 2 coats of POR 15 and flat black. Time to start building my tub back up to get this thing on the road.

That's pretty cool! I found a parking garage RFID card in my dash. Some place in Arizona. And lots of sunflower seeds.
